Kindle Fire is the new entrant in Amazon Kindle Family. The latest estimated sales report release by eDataSource, a leading provider of intelligence for social network and email marketing. The New Amazon Kindle Fire will sell approximately 95,000 units on the first day, almost quadrupling Amazon estimate of 25,000 units on the first day; 15th November, 2011.

Taking into consideration this will be only in the US, what will happen when Kindle Fire, Kindle, Kindle Touch and Kindle Touch 3G hit the entire world, that is nobody’s guess.
However, the other new Kindles will not share this Kindle Fire’s success. Based on eDataSource findings, Kindle Touch plus other new Kindles, both Kindle and Kindle Touch 3G will only sell 25,000 combined on 15th November, 2011, the Kindles release date.

eDataSource is a key intelligence firm reports on ecommerce trends, their estimate of iPad in April was close as they had predicted that 350,000 iPad units would be sold on the first day and comparing to the actual sales of the day, eDataSource were 50,000 units short of the actual sales.

The prices for the new Amazon Kindles are as follows

Kindle Fire will cost US$ 199
Kindle Touch will cost US$ 199
Kindle Touch 3G will cost US$ 199
Kindle will cost US$ 199

eDataSource analyzes its data based on a panel of 800,000 inboxes and they can predict a new product sales.

Despite the great sales of the Kindle Fire on the first day, it is estimated that for each Kindle Fire sold, Amazon will be losing US$ 10, which Amazon aim to recover from sales of movies and books purchased by the Kindle Fire owners from Amazon Kindle stores.

Using the estimated figure of the 95,000 units to be sold on the first day, then Amazon will lose approximately US$ 950,000.
